Although she has never publicly stated her cup size, we estimate it is either a DD or F size. Some other sites have speculated that it is actually more likely to be a FF or G size, but it’s important to note that Christina Hendricks often wears a push up bra (with possible padding) which makes her breasts look bigger than other stars. Her band size is 39 and this has been confirmed when a dress that she wore on Mad Men was sold on ebay to raise money for charity and had the measurements listed as 39-30-39.

I have never in my life seen a band size of 39, or any odd numbers. Bands are ALWAYS even numbers. Christina’s band size has to be either 38 or 40. Probably 38, I’d guess.
Sorry, but the 39″ measurement on that dress would have been her bust measurement, NOT her underbust measurement!
Assuming that her underbust measurement is similar to her waist measurement (which is how it looks), she should be wearing US 32H. If her ribcage is bigger, then anything from a US 34E.

Sorry. The one stuffing her bra has the last name of Perry and even with all the stuffing Katy Payola uses she is about seven cup sizes smaller than Christina is UNpadded (if she even pads). A pushup bra cannot create such great shape bust in such tight clothing on such a large bust. When you are really and truly large breasted , a push up bra is pointless (no pun intended) as it flattens and smashes. She most likely uses BALCONY bra which are specifically for big breasted women and are only very lightly padded as they are cantilevered to support via the structure itself. The chicken cutlets are for Katy Perry and Ke$ha, Hendricks is the REAL DEAL!
I have gone in for a bra fitting and have been told that I am a 34DDD or E depending on the store I’m shopping at. I must say that Christina’s breasts look much bigger than mine. I would suspect that if she has a 34 in. ribcage that her breasts are in F or G range. If she is a 38 or 40, then the DD to E could possibly be correct.
But, I’m with the men on this page. She’s gone past the point of actual measurements and has gotten into “Holy mother of god, those are big” territory.
Okay, guys. I would really like to clear up your mistake about her cup size. Looking at her breasts, I would also guess that she is a DD cup (possibly a DDD) [US cup sizes!], as she is obviously wearing a push-up bra in most pictures. As many readers pointed out, the number on a bra is called a “band size,” and it is NOT the distance around her breasts. To be a DD cup, a woman must have about a five-inch difference between the measurement under her breasts and the measurement around the fullest part. So, if Christina’s bust measurement is 39in, then the measurement under her bust is about 34in. In addition to all of this information, it is important to know that band sizes are always even, and that a band size is not always the distance under her bust, it is often measured around her back and coming around the top front above her bust. Considering her weight and her shape, I would guess that Christina is a 36DD, or maybe a 34DD. (Most likely a 36DD, as I wear a 34DD and am slimmer than her.) If you’d like to research how this is done (and I suggest that everyone do, as men and women both are often very misinformed about breast sizes) most lingerie websites have information on sizing. I fit full-breasted women in bras for a living, and I can tell you that Christina is most likely an I or J cup. Because her underbust measurement is probably a 32 (just a little higher than her waist), her cup “letter” size would be much larger. A woman with a size 40 band, but with the same size breasts would be an F cup. That’s just the math, people.
I work with a young woman with similar measurements, and she is a 30-32 J.
Ellen is right. 39 is not her band size, but her full bust measurement. It is extremely common to have too large of a band size and too small of a cup size. The wiring size and the type of the cup are very different and should be taken into account when measuring a proper bra. She’s so beautiful it doesn’t matter what size she is as long as her bra is fitted properly and she feels comfortable in it

I never cease to get fed up with people inaccurately stating that Christina’s bra size is “100% DDD” or that her underbust “really measures 39″ – excuse my language, but that is complete and utter bullsh*t.
Sadly women all around the world don’t know their bra size. I am a UK size 12, and my underbust measures 31″, so tell me, what size does Christina look to you, 14? 16? 18? Measuring 39″ underbust would make her a UK size 18-20…FAR from accurate.
In my guess she is probably a 34HH, or something similar. Sure she may wear padded bras, but if you do your research, you will see pictures of her online in swimming costumes etc, that quite clearly show how very busty she is. Learn how a bra fits before you try and guess someone’s size, DD is not the biggest, it is right in the middle of the size range.
Misinformation about bra/band/cup sizes is rampant among men and women alike. You’ll see differing advice on how to measure, for example, between what is at the link above that Marilyn provides and on other sites, such as figleaves.com. Victoria’s Secret’s sizing guide used to say to measure the ribcage below the bust and add 4-5 inches, and now they say to measure from around the back, through the armpits, and above the bust to get the band size. This would put CH’s band size at about 36-38. If you go to a decent department store, like Nordstrom, they will measure just around the ribcage and round up to an even number, which would put her band size at around 32. Who is right, and why so much misinformation? The answer lies in who carries the most sizes. Winner: Nordstrom, figleaves.com, etc. Victoria’s Secret is guilty of a long running scam to get a whole lot of differently sized women into just a few bra sizes. The way they do this is to take large busted women and put them into band sizes that are too big so that they will fit around their breasts with a smaller cup. Those same bras more correctly fit borderline obese women with smaller breasts. The smaller the band size, the higher the cup size, so while CH might be able to flop through life in a size 36DD from Victoria’s with underwire from the too-small cups digging into her breast tissue, if she goes down to the correct band size of 32 or so, her cup goes up to something in the realm of what Ellen and Louise accurately suggest: H-J. Obviously, these are sizes that VS doesn’t carry, but don’t worry ladies – we don’t have to put up with their $#!@ anymore cuz we have options! Do y’alls a big favor and get a proper fitting. And boys, please take your wives and girlfriends – they will be much happier people!
a size 39DD doesn’t exist. If the bust measurement of a dress is 39 her actual bust measurement is probably 37.5 or 38. She most likely wears a 34G.
Soph is correct. I’m a 34G/FF so I speak with experience. Victoria Secrets makes THEE worst bras for busty women of any size so they can’t be trusted. Measuring tapes are meaningless as well. I could show you the same three woman with the same under and over bust measurements and they’d ALL wear very different cup sizes. Boobs vary in volume, proportion, shape and fullness. Shoulder and chest all vary as well. Hendricks looks like a 34 H or GG in Freya, Masquerade or Curvy Kate who make superior bras to ANYTHING you can buy in the Made in China aka USA. Also bras for the most part are sized differently in this era. A 36C used to be big and a DD enormous but now they are sized much smaller. A DD in this era is on the small side. An EE which is Kelly Brook’s size , is the start of “big” with Rachel Aldana, a 32LL cup being super big.
As a 34H myself, I’m agreeing with the smaller band size/larger cup size contingent on this one. Victoria’s Secret (and La Senza, too, for that matter) do not sell bras for anyone even remotely busty. Here in the UK there are plenty of great places to get good bras (Bravissimo!), but back in Canada I had a bugger of a time finding them (Secrets From Your Sister is a good boutique in Toronto).
I’m so happy that Christina Hendricks has brought back the voluptuous beauty for the mainstream. I was getting so sick of being thinking I was fat because I have large breasts.
